Indonesia welcomes Kuwaiti investors - official


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUALA LUMPUR May 4 (KUNA) -- Indonesia Investment Coordination Authority (BKPM) welcomed Wednesday desires by Kuwaiti investors to invest in the oil and animal resources sectors expressing readiness to enhance bilateral relations in all aspects of investment.

The remarks were made during a meeting between Kuwait Ambassador to Indonesia Abdulwahab Al-Saqer and President of BKPM Franky Sibarani a statement from Kuwait Embassy in Indonesia said.

Ambassador Al-Saqer expressed wishes to bolster bilateral relations affirming guidelines he received on this regard from First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

The statement also highlighted previous meetings made by the Ambassador with various Indonesian officials most notably Indonesian President Joko Widodo.

It also quoted BKPM chief praise throughout the years to bilateral relations between the two countries. (end) aab.mb
