"SAUDIA" achieves growth in operating performance rates between Kingdom and Sudan


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Saudi Arabian Airlines "SAUDIA" has boosted operations in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum by increasing its flights between Khartoum and Jeddah and Riyadh in accordance with the approved operational plan for 2016, raising the number of its weekly flights to 23, an average of 14 flights to Jeddah and 9 flights to Riyadh.

The trips of "Saudia" between Khartoum and Riyadh and Jeddah witnessed an increase during 2015 by 17 trips instead of 12 flights per week in the previous year, where the operational performance report for the station of Saudi Arabian Airlines in Sudan for the same year showed a growth in operation rates, an increase of the number of guests by 40% as 460242 guests were transferred in both directions on board 1700 trips, an increase of more than 31% compared to 2014. The report showed that the proportion discipline in the flight schedules in Khartoum station amounted to 95%, which is high in the global rates.
