Lebanese parliament fails anew to elect pres.

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Lebanese parliament failed Wednesday for the thirty-first consecutive time to convene and elect a new president due to lack of quorum.
Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri postponed the session to December 2nd, according to official media reports.
The session was delayed owing to lack of quorum as at least 86 members of the 128-member parliament must be present in line with the country's constitution.
Lebanon has been without a president since May 25, 2014 when the six-year term of former president Michel Suleiman ended.
