(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) A sick Palestinian elderly woman,died on her way to hospital after being delayed by Israeli forces at a checkpoint erected by Israeli soldiers at the entrance of the Al-Issawiya neighborhood East Jerusalem.
Huda Darwish, 65, died after being delayed from reaching the hospital and receiving medical treatment after suffering shortness of breath, a statement by Al-Maqased Hospital said.
Israeli authorities impose strict measures at its checkpoints erected at the entrances of Palestinian villages restricting local citizens movements denying them access to hospitals and receiving medical treatment.
