Twelve Indian firms to take part in Infra Oman exhibition

Twelve Indian companies from the infrastructure and construction sectors will participate in Infra Oman at the Oman International exhibition Centre from October 5-7 under the banner of the Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI).

The companies would showcase their products and equipment to explore business opportunities in the sultanate a statement from the Indian Embassy said on Sunday.

The group comprises companies such as Shri Prempuriji Granimarbo Pvt Ltd; Prime automation Systems Pvt Ltd; Weartech Alloys Pvt Ltd; Stone India Ltd; Maxmech Equipments Pvt Ltd; Trade Link Ltd; Pieco India Engineering Co Pvt Ltd; Algorithms Software Pvt Ltd; Livon Ceramic; Lizon; Digital Wall Tiles; Rey Cera-Creation Pvt Ltd; Simbel India Engineering Co Pvt Ltd among others.

The infrastructure sector is a key driver for the Indian economy. The sector is critical for propelling India's economic growth and has been accorded a high priority by the government.

There is a huge potential for collaboration between India and Oman in construction and infrastructure sectors as Oman focuses on development of new airports medical cities convention centres hotels/resorts express highways railways affordable houses etc.


The Embassy plans to host a 'Business Meet' on October 6 for the visiting companies so that they can interact with their Omani counterparts for exchange of information and ideas about doing business including setting-up joint ventures.
