Saudi Arabia exports reach USD342.28b in 2014


(MENAFN) The total exportations from Saudi Arabia amounted to a total of about USD342.28 billion, marking a decrease by 8.9 percent year-on-year due to multiple reasons, the Saudi Gazette reported.

Imports, on the other hand, witnessed a slight increase by 3.3 percent, reaching USD173.8 billion for the same year, with machinery and electrical appliances leading the table as Saudi top imports.

The value of the kingdom's oil exports comprised 83 percent of the total value of exports at USD284.17 billion, a report by the Saudi Central Department of Statistics and Information revealed.
