Italy condemns terrorist attack in Pakistan

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Italy condemned on Tuesday the terrorist attack by Taliban against a school in the northern Pakistani city of Peshawar that killed some 141 people, calling on the international community to confront terrorism.

The killing of children inside a school is a horrible thing and the world must respond to such horror, Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi said in response to the incident.

On another front, Italian President of Chamber of Deputies Laura Boldrini said that the massacre conducted by Taliban in Peshawar is terrifying, stressing that the killing of children to military parents is inhuman and brutal.

Boldrini noted that such tragic incident calls on Europe to respond strongly and transform feelings of anger to practical polices under one voice in the European Union (EU).

Earlier, the terrorist attack that killed at least 141 people including 132 children has ended as security forces killed all seven militants that attacked an army-run school in Peshawar, northern Pakistan.
