Dubai enjoyed the glare of the international spotlight over the weekend as reality TV darlings Khloe Kardashian and Paris Hilton jetted into town for the opening of contemporary Middle Eastern restaurant Clé Dubai on Saturday night - and the stars of Bollywood weren’t far behind.
Bang Bang actor Hrithik Roshan cleaned up nicely in an electric blue jacket as he joined fellow celebs Esha Gupta Fardeen Khan Zayed Khan Dino Morea and Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh at the venue’s launch party in DIFC over the weekend. Roshan who has been in the news of late for his personal turmoil including a brain surgery last year seemed in high spirits as he mingled with fellow guests.
The fashion world was also out in force with stunning appearances by Victoria’s Secret models Alessandra Ambrosio and Irina Shayk. Olivier Rousteing The creative director of fashion house Balmain managed to snag a seat with friend and muse Khloe - looking sexy and svelte in a form fitting dress - as they dined on Middle Eastern cuisine from the kitchen of Michelin-starred chef Greg Malouf.
It was a reunion of sorts for Khloe and Paris - joined by sister Nicky - as the trio seemed to bury any bad blood they might have harboured against each other in the past while happily posing for pictures together. Earlier in the day Paris managed to enjoy some down time at the private zoo of friend Sarah Belhasa playing with some exotic animals. Marking her second visit here Khloe kept her fitness focus as she snuck in a 4am workout at The Ritz-Carlton hotel where she was staying.
