UAE - Three new judges for DIFC Courts


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Shaikh Maktoum, when he received the judges at his Majlis in Zabeel on Tuesday, gave instructions for them to expedite work on cases referred to the courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre. Three new judges affiliated to the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) were sworn in before Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Judicial Council in Dubai, on the occasion of their new assignment. Shaikh Maktoum, when he received the judges at his Majlis in Zabeel on Tuesday, gave instructions for them to expedite work on cases referred to the courts of the Dubai International Financial Centre. The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Dubai's Attorney-General, Essam Eisa Al Humaidan, Abdullah Mohammed Saleh, Governor of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Dr Lowai Mohamed Belhoul, Director-General of the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department and a number of senior officials.
