AXA Gulf wins Insurance Authority award for Emiratisation commitment


(MENAFNEditorial) AXA Insurance Gulf – one of the largest and the leading non-life international insurers in the region – has been conferred the Insurance Authority award for its commitment to Emiratisation guidelines. The prestigious honour, which reinforces AXA's support to the UAE Government's Emiratisation drive, was handed over in Abu Dhabi by HE Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, UAE Minister of Economy, and Ebrahim Obaid Al Za'abi, Acting Director General of Insurance Authority. Essa Al-Mulla, AXA UAE Compliance & AML Manager from AXA Gulf received the award. The award was conferred in line with the campaign launched by the Insurance Authority on the occasion of the 41st UAE National Day under the theme "a flag on my desk", to recognise the efforts of insurance companies which have more than 10% Emirati employees among its staff. In his comments, Essa Al-Mulla, AXA UAE Compliance & AML Manager from AXA Gulf said: "Since our inception in the UAE, we have remained committed to equip our UAE national employees with the knowledge and skills needed to function within the changing insurance environment. We are honoured to be recognized by the Insurance Authority and this award further reinforces our resolve to Emiratisation."
