Selex and Masters Club post wins in Ramadan T20 cricket

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Selex capped their fine chase with a seven-wicket victory against Khyber in the Ramadan Twenty20 Cricket Tournament at the Asian Town Cricket Stadium in Industrial Area.
The Qatar Cricket Association, under the presidency of Yousef Jeham al-Kuwari, is hosting the event for all the divisions to promote the sport and keep the players in competitive shape.
According to QCA Operations manager Manzoor Ahmad, eight out of Premier and Division A teams will be clubbed in one category, while 20 teams from the Division B and C comprise the second category. QCA Domestic Cricket head Gul Khan Jadoun is supervising the event with match referees Syed Hassan Raza and Amin Ul Islam. Mohamed Naseem, umpiring coordinator, is being assisted by Jamshaid Ahmad.
Khyber had put up 155 for eight in 18 overs in the B-C divisions match against Selex. Murad cracked two sixes and seven fours to reach 43 in just 23 balls, while Sanka clobbered five fours in his 39 off 32 balls.
