Mali attack fatalities include four UN peacekeepers


(MENAFN) The UN commission confirmed that in Mali on Friday, two attacks occurred that led to the death of four UN peacekeepers, with unknown nationalities, and a Malian solider.

Ever since 2013, a mission to stabilize the country had been in place by UN troops as Islamist militants who constant attacks had pressured Mali, bordering Niger and Burkina Faso.

Minsuma, the UN mission, had suffered from 146 deaths as well as the highest death poll in current UN operations.
