(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar Emiri Air Force (QEAF) Airlift wing achieved a milestone this year, transporting more than 1mn lb of cargo, up to November 7, supporting international coalition's operation 'Inherent Resolve against the ISIS terrorist group in Iraq and Syria. Since June of this year, QEAF C-17 and C-130J aircraft have been heavily engaged in coalition missions, transporting critical cargo and supplies across the region, according to a statement issued yesterday by the Directorate of Defence Communication. These vital missions have directly supplied coalition warfighters, enabling the joint air campaign against ISIS and contributing to the group's rapid destruction, the statement added.
