(MENAFN) The Human Rights Watch said that the health of major Bahraini campaigner, Nabeel Rajab, is progressively worsen after 300 days of unfair imprisonment.

In detail, the prominent activist was held after slamming Saudi air strikes against Yemen in June 2016.

"Filing criminal charges against Nabeel Rajab solely for his peaceful criticism and then refusing to free him shows Bahrain"s contempt for the most elemental human rights," deputy Middle East director at HRW said.

It"s worth mentioning that Nabeel Ahmed Abdulrasool Rajab is a Bahraini human rights campaigner and opposition leader. He is also the Bahrain"s Centre for Human Rights president.
