(MENAFN- Morocco World News) The video, posted to YouTube on Tuesday, shows an elder, bearded man boldly advancing toward a woman with the intention of making unwanted physical contact.
The woman's immediate reaction can be heard clearly as she begins to fight back against this man's attempt to kiss her and fondle her.
Far from being cowed by the victim's plea to be left alone, the attacker seems to find her distress more reason to continue in his sexual assault.
At one point he tries to place his arms around her waist. Even after she heroically grabs a stick to defend herself and begins to beat him back, her attacker can be seen lunging toward her and chasing her.
A child can be heard off-screen reacting to the traumatic event by crying loudly. Seconds later, a little girl comes into frame, frightened, confused and clearly affected by what she's witnessing.
The video, shared widely since its release, continues for 3 minutes, showing the woman struggling against the persistent attacker, fighting him man and shouting into his face, in Tamazight, 'Go away from me, I am a married woman – don't you feel shame?' While the actions of this man have been widely condemned as 'despicable' by those who have viewed the video, it remains to be seen if this sexual assault and the video evidence will render any charges forthcoming.
