Kuwait charge d'affaires conveys letter from His Highness Amir to Yemeni Pres.


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait Charge d'affaires Mohammad Al-Shatti met Tuesday with Yemeni Deputy Foreign Minister Amir Al-Aidarous and handed over a letter from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to President Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi. The letter highlighted bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to boost them in all fields, Yemen News Agency (SABA) said and quoted Al-Aidarous as praising bilateral ties during the meeting. Al-Aidarous also expressed appreciation of the Yemeni government to the State of Kuwait, leadership, and people for their positive role, contribution, and support to Yemen's stability and unity. Meanwhile, the President of Sanaa University Abdulhakeem Al-Sharji hailed Kuwait's contribution to development and education in Yemen, affirming how strong and deep relations between the two relations. A statement by Sanaa University said Al-Sharji met with Al-Shatti and discussed issues regarding the university's facilities which are being funded by Kuwait, a testament on the deeply rooted cooperation between the two nations. The meeting also tackled bolstering academic cooperation between the university and Kuwait counterparts, the statement added.
