Morocco sees sharp growth in industrial production


(MENAFN) Morocco was found to have seen a growth in its industrial production in April, recording a 64 percent Capacity Utilization Rate (UCA).

The boost has been shown in the monthly survey conducted by Bank Al-Maghrib, with it discovering a progress in production and sales.

Bank Al Maghrib said that the Capacity Utilization Rate has stood at 72 percent in the agri-food sector, with textiles and leather reaching 71 percent and chemistry and para-chemistry recording 57 percent.

The bank also found the Capacity Utilization Rate of the electrical and electronic sector to have posted 83 percent, with mechanics and metallurgy recording 67 percent.
