SHELL OMAN STRENGTHENS ITS COMMITMENT TO OMAN VISION 2040 THROUGH NEW COOPERATION AGREEMENT


(MENAFN- Mid-East Info) Muscat, November 13, 2025 – In a shared spirit of partnership and purpose, Shell Oman Marketing Company (Shell Oman) and the Oman Vision 2040 Implementation & Follow-Up Unit (Oman Vision 2040 Unit) have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) to advance collaboration in areas that support the nation's sustainable development journey. The signing took place during Oman Vision 2040 Unit's inaugural Partners Gathering held at Crowne Plaza Qurum, marking another milestone in aligning private sector expertise with the Sultanate's long-term aspirations.



The agreement was signed by Lamees Al Lawati, Chief Financial Officer at Shell Oman, and His Excellency Sayyid Dr. Mundhir Al Busaidi, Vice-Chairman of the Oman Vision 2040 Implementation & Follow-Up Unit, in the presence of decision makers, senior officials and partners from different entities.

Spanning a period of three years, this MoC will open new pathways for knowledge exchange, capacity building, and public engagement. Through this collaboration, Shell Oman will work closely with the Oman Vision 2040 Unit to share best practices in people and competency development, offer mentoring opportunities to young Omani professionals, and explore specialized training programs led by Shell Oman's experts. These efforts will help strengthen the Unit's capabilities in communications, public outreach, and strategic planning, ensuring that the messages of Oman Vision 2040 continue to reach and resonate with people across the Sultanate.

The partnership will enable Shell Oman to further integrate elements of Oman Vision 2040 across its various lines of business and social investment programs, particularly those focused on youth empowerment, sustainability, and community development. In addition, Shell Oman will leverage its extensive national network to amplify the Vision's messages, connecting everyday life with the nation's aspirations for a prosperous and sustainable future.
