Israeli Occupation Arrests Al-Khalil Municipality's Head

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RAMALLAH, Sept 2 (KUNA) -- The Israeli occupation forces arrested on Tuesday the head of Al-Khalil municipality Tayseer Abu Sneineh at his home south of the West Bank.
Al-Khalil municipality said in a statement that the occupation forces barged into Abu-Sneineh's house, causing damage during the arrest.
The municipality condemned the arrest, saying it was a stark attack on the city and the diginity of the Palestinian people.
It held the Israeli occupation responsible for any harm that might befall the arrested Palestinian official who has every legal right to contest his arrest and maltreatment.
Abu Sneineh's arrest is part of an Israeli occupation campaign, which resulted so far in the apprehension of 15 individuals. (end)
