Cairo Condemns Israeli Occupation Military Expansion In Gaza
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA))
CAIRO, Sept 1 (KUNA) -- Egypt on Monday condemned the military expansion of Israeli occupying forces in the Gaza Strip and their insistence on breaking international humanitarian law despite global willingness to end this war and regional escalation.
In a press release, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry underlined that Israeli occupation failure to respond to the deal suggested by Egypt and Qatar as part of Gaza ceasefire efforts exposes occupation opposition to de-escalation and ongoing efforts to ensure tranquility and peace.
It stressed that in this regard that the continuation of this aggression aggravates the humanitarian situation in the territory, particularly amid the Israeli occupation's starvation and blockade policies against disarmed civilians in the enclave.
However, the ministry restated Egypt's emphatic objection to this aggressive Israeli occupation behavior as being blamed for the regional crisis. (end)
