Mohammed Bin Rashid Library Celebrates Knowledge And Creativity In September

Dubai, UAE, 1 September 2025: This September, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library will host a vibrant lineup of cultural, artistic, and educational events, bringing together creativity, knowledge, and expert engagement across multiple fields.

The month begins with a press conference in the first week of September to announce the second edition of the Dubai International Library and Publishing Summit 2025. The event will reveal the summit's program, including international speakers, workshops, and panel discussions, giving participants the chance to register early.

In partnership with the Dubai Astronomy Group, the library will host a special celestial gathering: “Blood Moon — Total Lunar Eclipse” next Sunday, offering astronomy enthusiasts a rare chance to witness this phenomenon.

Among the workshops, “Architectural Creativity on Paper” will guide participants to sketch real or imagined buildings in their own artistic style, while the “Innovation and Leadership in Organisational Change” workshop, held with Tatweer Security Training Institute, will focus on developing leadership skills and fostering innovation.

The library will also present a student debate, “Books Through the Eyes of Generations”, in collaboration with Al-Salam Community School, exploring how different generations perceive literature in the digital age.

On the International Day of Sign Language, and in line with the Year of Community, the library will host two interactive workshops—introducing participants to the basics of sign language and empowering those with hearing challenges to create innovative digital content in Emirati sign language.

As part of the Heritage and National Identity Program, a discussion titled “Dubai: A Journey Through Tourism and Culture Transformation” will spotlight the vital role of tour guides in promoting Dubai's heritage while addressing new tourism trends and challenges.

In collaboration with Cineolio, the library will screen a series of award-winning international short films, including Before the Rain Fades Away (Egypt), How to Dive with Dolphins (South Korea), Love (USA), and Munchkin (Switzerland).

Rounding off the program, the “Wildlife and Marine Photography Workshop” under the “Empowering Minds” program will invite participants to discover the beauty of nature through the art of photography.
