Kuwait PM Receives Japanese FM, Accompanying Delegation

KUWAIT, Sept 1 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace on Monday Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya and the accompanying delegation.
The meeting came on the occasion of the second Japan-GCC Foreign Ministers' Strategic Cooperation Meeting, which Minister Iwaya is attending.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance ties and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
Present at the meeting were Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya, Head of His Highness the Prime Minister's Diwan Abdulaziz Al-Dakheel, and Assistant Foreign Minister for Asia Affairs Ambassador Sameeh Hayat. (end)
