Morr Inks Cooperation Agreements With Ngos
KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation (MoRR) has inked cooperation agreements worth more than 580,000 US dollars with three NGOs to facilitate refugees in 14 provinces.
On its X handle, MoRR wrote totally, these three agreements valued 851,572 US dollars.
The agreements were inked with the Women for Afghan Women Development Foundation, Afghan Economic Strengthening and Regional Development Authority and Rah Roshan Health and Social Services Foundation.
It said the organisations would spend the money on educational programs, establishing capacity building centers, distributing equipment, raising awareness, economic support, cash assistance, and sewing hijabs and beadwork.
According to MoRR, these projects are being implemented in Kabul, Balkh, Kunduz, Jawzjan, Baghlan, Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman, Nuristan, Bamyan, Daikundi, Ghazni, Kandahar and Herat provinces.
The ministry added the projects would benefit 31,000 returning families, internally displaced households and local residents.
