Trump Says Had“Very Good” Call With Zelensky

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) U.S. President Donald Trump said he had just finished a "very good" call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, during which the parties discussed issues raised during a Trump-Putin call on Tuesday.

The American leader wrote about this on his own social network Truth Social , Ukrinform reports.

"Just completed a very good telephone call with President Zelenskyy of Ukraine. It lasted approximately one hour," Trump said.

He noted that a significant part of the conversation was based on his phone call with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

Trump stressed that the talks were aimed“to align both Russia and Ukraine in terms of their requests and needs”.

In this regard, the U.S. President emphasized: "We are very much on track."

He noted he would ask Secretary of State Marco Rubio and National Security Advisor Michael Waltz to give an accurate description of the points discussed.

“That Statement will be put out shortly,” the U.S. President said.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the U.S. and Ukrainian presidents spoke by phone on Wednesday. Their conversation took place the day after the U.S. President discussed issues related to establishing peace in Ukraine with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
