Libyan Oil Company Focuses On Productivity

São Paulo – This week, Libya's oil company, the National Oil Corporation (NOC ), reviewed its 2024 operations and discussed its plan for 2025, Libyan state news agency Lana reported. A meeting on the topic reviewed the main points of the planning for this year and presented strategies to overcome the challenges of 2024, achieve the highest productivity levels, and reach targets.
In the meeting, the acting Chairman of the NOC Board of Directors, Masoud Suleiman, discussed with the directors of the technical departments the difficulties in implementing the 2024 plan and made a general assessment of this stage. Suleiman emphasized the need to work at the same pace and maintain the same spirit in 2025. The meeting was held at the company's headquarters in Tripoli, the capital of Libya.
According to information released by the NOC on January 27, Libya is currently producing 1,410,038 barrels of crude oil per day. The daily gas production is 199,931 barrels of oil equivalent. The following day, the company also said its operations are running smoothly at all fields and ports, after discussions held with protesters at the Sidra and Ras Lanuf ports.
