Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan Give Thumbs Up To Joint Tourism Projects' Development


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, January 27. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov have agreed to advance joint projects aimed at creating resorts and recreational centers, Trend reports, referring to the Uzbek presidential administration.

The informal meeting of the heads of state took place at the "Amirsoy" resort complex in the Tashkent region of Uzbekistan.

The leaders exchanged views on current issues on the bilateral agenda, as well as on matters of international Politics and regional cooperation.

The President of Kyrgyzstan highly praised the conditions and modern infrastructure of Uzbekistan's ski resort, which meets high international standards.

In the course of the meeting, Zhaparov highlighted that a staggering 94 percent of Kyrgyzstan's landmass is characterized by mountainous terrain, suggesting the potential for ski resort development across all seven regions of the nation.
