La government Services Employees Association a écrit au Secrétaire au Cabinet ministériel de remettre sur pied le Conseil d'Administration de la Public Service Commission.
Selon Gheerishsing Gopaul, Secrétaire général de la GSEA, les interviews, le recrutement des nouveaux fonctionnaires ainsi que les promotions n'ont pas lieu depuis l'arrivée du nouveau gouvernement et cela cause des problèmes d'effectifs dans le service public.
