PITTSBURGH, Dec. 11, 2024 /PRNewswire/ --
"I wanted to create a welding helmet accessory that would illuminate a workpiece, prevent fog buildup on the lens, and supply fresh air all with an installation time of under 30 minutes," said an inventor, from Vass, N.C., "so I invented the FOGLESS WELD. My design would offer an inexpensive alternative kit to costly filtering systems and lighting stand equipment."
The patent-pending invention provides an improved attachment kit for use with any welding helmet or spark shield. In doing so, it increases visibility especially in poorly lit conditions and out of positional welding. It also offers a supply of fresh air to help prevent lens and/or glasses fogging. The invention features an ergonomic design that is easy to attach and use so it is ideal for professional welders, metal material grinders, metal product fabricators, industrial workers, mechanics, etc. Additionally, a prototype model and technical drawings are available upon request.
The original design was submitted to the National sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
