BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 20. In the Khydyrly
village of Azerbaijan's Aghdam District, the wheels are turning on
restoration efforts, which encompass the laying down of 3,520
meters of power lines, 1,400 meters of water supply, 700 meters of
gas supply, and 3,900 meters of sewerage network, spokesperson for
the restoration and construction service in Aghdam, Fuzuli, and
Khojavend districts, Leyla Sarabi told Trend .
Sarabi stated that excavation work is almost in the home stretch
for 11 kilometers of internal roads out of a planned 42
kilometers.
One of the settlements in the Aghdam district, where
construction work has been widely carried out, is the Khidirli
village. The foundation of the village was laid on October 4, 2022,
by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
A total of 5,093 people are set to find a roof over their heads
in the village of Khydyrly, just a stone's throw away-3
kilometers-from the heart of Agdam. The whole shebang spans a
whopping 418 hectares. Given the crowded conditions, a generous
slice of 170 hectares has been earmarked for the initial phase of
residential development, set to include the construction of 719
private homes to accommodate 2,951 residents.
The dust has settled on the demolition and land leveling works
in the village, and everything is in the rearview mirror now.
Moreover, the groundwork and foundation tasks, along with the stone
masonry, have been wrapped up in 292 private residences, while the
finishing touches have been put on 278 of those homes.
In the village, the groundwork has been laid and the foundation
for the 719 private houses is all squared away, while the
stonemasonry has been wrapped up in 643 homes. Right now, the
finishing touches are being put on both the inside and outside. The
wheels are turning on the construction of the central communication
system, and the village's road infrastructure is also in the
works.
Meanwhile, the groundwork has been laid and the heavy lifting is
done for 10 non-residential buildings. The buildings are getting a
facelift with concrete and brickwork in full swing.
