Azerbaijan's AZPROMO, Tajik Export Agency Brainstorm Logistics Incentives

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 19. The leadership
of the Azerbaijan Export and investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO)
and the delegation of the Export Agency under the government of
Tajikistan discussed logistics enhancing incentives in Baku,

AZPROMO's statement.
"During a meeting with First Deputy Director of the Tajik Export
Agency Bakhtiyor Nazirmadzoda, AZPROMO Executive Director Yusif
Abdullayev informed about export promotion mechanisms and the
logistics subsidy mechanism, which is expected to be approved
soon.
It was noted that the potential for transit exports between the
two countries, as well as to neighboring countries, is high, and
developing cooperation in this area is one of the key priorities,"
the statement said.
Nazirmadzoda briefed on the activities of the Export Agency
represented by him, Tajikistan's trade turnover, and the potential
for transit and logistics.
The importance of increasing commercial ties with Azerbaijan was
highlighted as a potential catalyst for Tajikistan to diversify its
bilateral trade contacts.
Both parties were quite optimistic about the meeting's outcome
and the potential for further trade and logistics cooperation.
