Chief Of Azerigaz Notes Nation's Gasification Reaching All-Time High

BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 18. The
gasification level in Azerbaijan is nearing 97 percent, a
significant achievement compared to other countries, Head of the
Azerigaz Production Union of SOCAR Azer Mammadov said during the
first Caspian gas industry Forum in Baku, Trend reports.
"In terms of gasification, our country surpasses such countries
as the Netherlands, Georgia, Italy, and Great Britain. And
gasification work continues, taking into account the integration of
Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur," Mammadov stated.
He also mentioned that the current length of Azerbaijan's gas
distribution network exceeds 73 thousand kilometers, serving over
2.6 million subscribers.
The forum was organized by the Caspian Energy Group and its
partners.
