Afghan Migrant Rights Discussed With Iranian Diplomat

KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghan and Iranian diplomats have conferred on the creation of a joint economic committee and protection of migrant rights.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs official Rahmatullah Faizan and Iranian Consul General in Herat Mohammad Sadeghifar met recently on issues of common interest.
At the meeting, Bakhtar News Agency reported, Faizan discussed the formation of a joint economic committee between Herat and Mashhad and the issues faced by the Afghans living in Iran with legal documents.
The Iranian diplomat said efforts were ongoing to address the problems of documented Afghans in Iran, with a focus on preventing their expulsion.
