Four-Day Long Thai Trade Fair To Begin In Dhaka On July 10

This was announced during a press conference held at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka on July 7.

Makawadee Sumitmor, Ambassador of Thailand to Bangladesh and Robin J Edwards, General Manager of Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka were present, among others, at the press conference.

A total of 64 exhibitors, including Thai companies as well as Bangladeshi companies importing Thai products or acting as the former's agent, will be participating in the fair, informed Thai Ambassador to Bangladesh.

The exhibition will feature several kinds of products and services such as chemicals, health services, agriculture machineries, lubricants, construction materials and hardware, airline services, health and beauty products, stationeries, kitchenware and household, food and beverage, fashion items, jewelry and baby care products.

Also, there will be cultural performances by Thai classical dance groups and Muay Thai demonstration by a Bangladeshi boxer every day during the fair.

At the same time, a Thai food festival will be taking place on the sidelines of the trade fair at the hotel's signature dining outlet Café Bazar.

Visitors can also win a trip to Bangkok, thanks to a grand raffle draw, said a release.

Minister of Industries Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun will be inaugurating the fair as the chief guest during its opening ceremony at the Grand Ballroom of the hotel on July 10. Makawadee Sumitmor, Ambassador of Thailand to Bangladesh, will also be present on the occasion.
