Kyiv Sends 1,000 FPV Drones To 3Rd Assault Brigade


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Ukrainian capital has handed over 1,000 first person view (FPV) drones to the soldiers of the 3rd Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.

The drones were bought for money allocated to the military from the city budget, Ukrinform reports, citing Kyiv City State Administration .

"The community of the capital handed over another batch of aid to Defenders and Defendresses on the front lines. Some 1,000 FPV drones went to the soldiers of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of the Ground Forces. They were bought using the money allocated to the military from the city budget," Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said.

The total cost of the UAVs is UAH 33.5 million.

Earlier, the community of the capital handed over 20 Toyota Hilux pickups to the soldiers of the 3rd Assault Brigade. Since the beginning of this year, Kyiv has allocated UAH 110 million to equip the 3rd Assault Brigade.
