Gartex Texprocess India 2024 To Exhibit 600 Brands From August 1-3, 2024 In New Delhi


(MENAFN- KNN India) New Delhi, Jul 4 (KNN) The premier Textiles and Apparel trade fair 'Gartex Texprocess India exhibition 2024' is scheduled to be held from August 1-3, 2024, at Yashobhoomi (IICC) in Dwarka, New Delhi.

The Exhibition will feature over 600 brands from seven countries, including China, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, and the USA, spread across 15,000 square meters.

The Indian textile industry is showing signs of robust growth, with recent data indicating a surge in exports and positive projections for the future.

According to the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI), textile and apparel exports saw an increase of 9.59 per cent and 9.70 per cent respectively in May 2024.

The India Brand Equity Foundation (IBEF) projects the Indian textiles and apparel market to reach USD 350 billion by 2030, growing at a CAGR of 10 per cent, with exports expected to hit USD 100 billion.

Gartex Texprocess India 2024 will feature over 600 brands from seven countries, including China, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, and the USA, spread across 15,000 square meters.

The exhibition will highlight various sectors of the textile industry, including garment and textile manufacturing, denim, accessories, and textile printing technologies.

The event will showcase more than a dozen new product launches from participating brands and will feature curated zones for specific product categories.

An expansion of the trims segment and direct participation from international brands are also notable aspects of this year's exhibition.

Additionally, the organisers have planned knowledge sessions featuring government officials, industry experts, and innovators to discuss current trends and future prospects in the textile sector.

The event organisers, Messe Frankfurt Trade Fair India Pvt Ltd and MEX Exhibitions Pvt Ltd, emphasise the focus on sustainability and innovation in textiles.

Raj Manek, Executive Director, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd, noted that the event will showcase transformations across various textile sectors.

Industry participants have expressed positive views on government initiatives such as the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme, Amended Technology Upgradation Fund Scheme (ATUFs), and PM MITRA Parks, citing their benefits for business growth and skill development.

As India maintains its position as the world's third-largest producer of textile raw materials, the upcoming Gartex Texprocess India 2024 is poised to be a significant platform for showcasing the country's evolving textile landscape and technological advancements in the sector.

The event is expected to provide valuable insights into the latest innovations and trends shaping the future of India's textile industry.
