After Rafah, Residents Of Khan Yunis In Gaza Left Homeless


(MENAFN- Khaama Press) Following Israel's continued airstrikes on various cities in Gaza, residents of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza were ordered by the Israeli military to evacuate the city, forcing them to flee their homes.

According to a report by Al Jazeera released this morning, Tuesday, July 2nd, residents of Khan Yunis, the second-largest city after Rafah, fled after warnings and Israeli attacks on areas in the city.

The report indicates that hundreds of Palestinian patients were also evacuated from eastern areas of Khan Yunis following the Israeli military's order for immediate evacuation of these regions.

Meanwhile, local media reports from Khan Yunis describe an Israeli army attack on a house in the eastern part of the city, resulting in one fatality and six others wounded.

As of the latest updates, from October 7 until now, at least 37,900 people have been killed and 80,060 injured in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Gaza.

The situation in Gaza has reached a critical point since October, with civilian casualties mounting and infrastructure suffering severe damage.
