One Killed, Eight Injured In Enemy Shelling Of Kharkiv Region


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) A woman was killed and eight civilians injured in enemy shelling of the Kharkiv region on Friday, June 28.

The Kharkiv region Police announced this on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.

"Over the past day, the Russian military used aircraft, artillery, mortars, MLRS, and rockets against the civilian population of the Kharkiv region. There are dead and wounded civilians. Investigators conducted 23 inspections of the scenes and entered information on 17 criminal proceedings related to Russia's armed aggression into the single register of pretrial investigations," the report said.

On June 28, the Russians attacked the village of Varvarivka with guided aerial bombs, killing a woman. In Tsyrkuny, which was hit by guided aerial bombs three times, eight people were injured and ten private houses were damaged.

In the village of Bilyi Kolodiaz, enemy artillery shelling injured a woman and damaged a private house. Russian forces shelled Petro-Ivanivka with a Grad multiple rocket launcher, damaging a private house and outbuildings.

Enemy shelling also damaged a pig farm and agricultural machinery in Mytrofanivka and a children's educational institution in Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi.

Odnorobivka came under artillery fire. The outskirts of the village were hit. No casualties or damage were recorded.

On June 27, ten people were injured in enemy shelling of the Kharkiv region.
