Toyota reveals recall of 145,254 cars in US

(MENAFN) Toyota, the renowned automotive manufacturer, has initiated a recall affecting 145,254 vehicles in the United States, as indicated in a recall notice published by the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. According to a news agency's report on Wednesday, the recall encompasses various models launched in 2024, including the Toyota Grand Highlander, Grand Highlander Hybrid, Lexus TX 350, TX 500 Hybrid, and TX 550 Hybrid Plus.

The recall notice specifies a potential issue with the deployment of the driver's side airbags, highlighting concerns that they may not deploy correctly and could potentially deploy partially outside the vehicle's open window. This safety concern prompts Toyota to take proactive measures to address the issue and ensure the safety of affected vehicle owners and occupants across the United States.
