Zelensky: Ukraine And Its Partners Must Break Russia's Colonial View Of World

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Ukraine, unlike Russia, perceives other countries as equals, based on the principle of respect for all nations, which is the basis of the UN Charter.

This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, commenting on the accession to the communiqué of the Antigua and Barbuda Peace Summit and the Organization of American States, Ukrinform reports.

"We perceive the whole world as equals, and this is our ideological difference from Russia in international relations. We respect every nation and count on every vote in cooperation between peoples. This is how the UN Charter is structured – so that all states matter. Putin, on the other hand, wants only him or someone else whom he himself determines to matter. This is a typically colonial view of the world in Russia, which we, together with all partners, must break," Zelensky said.

According to the Head of State, the format of the Peace Summit, the format of further preparatory work for the second Summit will ensure fair treatment of every nation, every state.
