Engineers Australia, PSMEQ, NAMPAPQ In Deal To Enhance Professional Development

Doha, Qatar: Engineers Australia, the Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers Qatar Chapter (PSMEQ), and the National Master Plumbers Association of the Philippines Qatar Chapter (NAMPAPQ) have formalised their commitment to fostering stronger collaboration and enhancing professional development within the engineering community.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Engineers Australia Qatar Chapter President Asif Rahmany, NAMPAP Qatar Chapter President Herlou Binghay, and PSME Qatar Chapter President Andy Dipasupil, alongside PSME National President Jeremy Agenuia.

The signing ceremony, held at the Australian Embassy, was graced by the presence of Ambassador of Australia to Qatar H E Shane Flanagan, and Ambassador of Philippines to Qatar, H E Lillibeth Velasco Pono. The MoU aims to strengthen the professional bonds between the organizations and promote knowledge exchange, training, and development opportunities for engineers in both countries.

In a brief speech, Ambassador of Philippines congratulated Engr. Arlan Beltran and Asif Rahmany for their year-long, tireless efforts to bring these MoUs to fruition. She expressed confidence that these agreements will play a significant role in uniting the three organizations to work towards their common goal of promoting engineering and technology in the region.

Ambassador of Australia also addressed the attendees, congratulating the engineering bodies on their focused collaboration and their efforts to leverage each organization's strengths. He commended their dedication to working together to enhance the engineering profession through mutual support and cooperation.

President of Engineers Australia Qatar Chapter Asif Rahmany expressed gratitude to Engr. Arlan Beltran for his persistent efforts over the past year in materializing these MoUs. He highlighted the importance of continued collaboration and the positive impact it will have on the engineering community in Qatar and beyond.

National President of PSME Engr. Jeremy Agenuia underscored the significance of the MoU and expressed hope that a similar MoU would be signed between Engineers Australia and PSME at the national level. He emphasized the importance of such agreements in fostering international collaboration and advancing the engineering profession globally.
