AZTAF Paves Way For Azerbaijan's Sustainable Development - World Bank

(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 31. The Azerbaijan RapidTechnical Assistance Facility (AZTAF) program paves way forAzerbaijan's sustainable development, Country Manager of the WorldBank (WB) Office in Azerbaijan, Stefanie Stallmeister, said duringtoday's second annual reporting meeting of AZTAF, funded by theEuropean Union (EU) and managed by the WB, in Baku, Trend reports.
“Azerbaijan is actively committed to the energy transition,increasing women's participation in the labor market, and adaptingto climate change. All these aspects play a key role in achievingnational goals. Their successful implementation will be thefoundation for the country's future.
In this context, the AZTAF project takes on special significanceas an important step towards the sustainable development ofAzerbaijan,” she emphasized.
To note, AZTAF was launched to support the Azerbaijanigovernment in achieving the goals outlined in the AzerbaijanSocio-Economic Development Strategy for 2022–2026.
