Boursa Kuwait Closes Higher

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Boursa Kuwait's general index experienced a 0.14-percent uptick on Monday, closing at 7,275.21 points, 10.24 points up from the previous closing.
A trading volume of 264.6 million shares was registered in 16054 transactions with a trading value of KWD 61.4 ($187.2).
The main market index saw a 0.88-percent slip to close at 5,932.52 points, 52.96 points down from the previous closing, due to 8391 transactions with a trading volume of 112.6 million shares and trading value of KWD 17.3 ($52.7).
The Premier Market Index rose by 33.06 points close at 7,983.34 points, a 0.42-percent increase with a total of 151.9 million shares having been traded in 7,663 transactions worth KWD 44 million (roughly $134.2 million).
The BK Main 50 index declined by 75.98 points to reach 5,850.89 points, a decrease of 1.28 percent, through the trading of 68.5 million shares in 4274 transactions with a value of KWD 10.8 million (roughly $32.9 million). (QNA)
