This entails that only a limited number of pieces are made and that each pair of shoes are not identical. Each piece is cut from a fragment of the art canvas, not to be duplicated or replicated. This mere concept alone in his Factory Designs is "Beautiful and Awe Inspiring." The artist alone feels that their work is not only validated on the canvas, presented in an art exhibition or gallery but now as well, in live form.
Michael Grey's background history is phenomenal and he has had the pleasure and honor of working with some of the finest fashion design companies in the world, such as Robert Cavalli, Vince Camuto, Bass, Levis, and Steve Madden. For over twelve years his travels abroad to Europe (Italy) have enhanced his skill and art to cutting-edge perfection through hand-crafted footwear, working with the finest Italian leather to produce authentically detailed art pieces.
Filled with exuberance and joy one of the selected artists Candace Chambers-Belida who also just recently received the Effetto Arte Foundation 2023 Art Career Award, by renowned Salvatore Russo and Francesco Saverio Russo, to be highlighted in September in San Remo, Italy is extremely delighted to join Michael in the collaboration journey showcasing her artistic works on the Michael Grey Birkenstock Sandal.
