(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) PARIS, 13th July, 2023 (WAM) -- During a meeting with Dr. Salem Suhail Al Neyadi, UAE Ambassador to the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie, Louise Mushikiwabo, Secretary-General of the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie, expressed the organisation's full support for the UAE's hosting of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) in November and December at Expo City Dubai and praised the pioneering vision and efforts of the UAE leadership in this field.
During her meeting with Al Neyadi at her office in the French capital Paris, Mushikiwabo confirmed the organisation's official participation in this important global event, adding that all of the organisation's member states and governments have been invited to participate in order to join global efforts to accelerate climate action.
The meeting aimed to strengthen enduring cooperation between the UAE and the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonieon issues of common interest.
