(MENAFN- TimesNewswire ) The first China TV Series Conference was held in Xiamen, East China's Fujian province on June 5, 2023.
Themed“Singing in the New Era for a New Journey of a Thriving Chinese TV Drama”, the event attracted more than a thousand participants from authorities, industry associations, production companies, and universities.
The conference aims to create a comprehensive platform for the national TV drama industry in terms of policy announcement, resource pooling, exchange and trade, sci-tech application, promotion and industry-university research.
In addition to the opening ceremony and the main forum, the conference includes over 20 events, including a venture capital session, a summit on film and TV base summit, and subforums on the application of production technology.
It is worth mentioning that the organizers designed a promotional event for the film and television industry in 2023. At the event, the host Fujian province and the five Guest Provinces of Honor Heilongjiang, Shandong, Guangdong, Hainan, and Sichuan, introduced their regional projects, supporting policies, and shooting service systems.
During the conference, well-known TV drama producers, directors, screenwriters, and actors were also offered a field trip to Xiamen, Quanzhou, Longyan, and Ningde for material collection.
Additionally, a TV broadcast exhibition was launched. A total of 23 excellent TV drama series including Minning Town, Our Times, and A Lifelomg Journey are scheduled to be broadcast on TV stations across Fujian province from June to October.
The two-day conference was hosted by the National Radio and Television Administration and the provincial government of Fujian, and jointly organized by China Federation of Radio and Television Associations, Publicity Department of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee, Fujian Provincial Administration of Radio and Television,and Xiamen Municipal People's Government.
