Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Municipality has announced the launch of three awards at the Qatar Real Estate Forum.
They are the Sustainability Award, the Design Creativity Award, and the Community Service Award (companies).
This came during a ceremony honouring the sponsors and supporters of the first edition of the forum, in the presence of Minister of Municipality H E Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie.
The awards aim at encouraging and motivating investors in the real estate sector to take into account sustainability, creativity and community service in designing and implementing their projects.
The conditions and criteria for these awards will be announced in the coming days. The winners will be announced in the second edition of the Qatar Real Estate Forum next year.
Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani inaugurated the Real Estate Forum yesterday. It being organised by the Ministry of Municipality at the Sheraton hotel, under the theme of 'Regulations and Legislation for an Optimal Quality of Life and a Sustainable Real Estate Industry'.
