Biden expresses worries about Russia moving its nuclear weapons to Belarus


(MENAFN) United States Leader Joe Biden has informed reporters that he feels “extremely negative” around Russian strategic nuclear weapons being positioned in Belarus.

Biden’s remark, which was declared by a news agency, came hours following Belarusian Leader Alexander Lukashenko declared that “the deployment of nuclear munitions has already begun.”
Russia shouldn’t be concerned around the security of its weapons as the Belarusians, being “practical and thrifty people,” will be capable of keeping them secured, Lukashenko also said.

The Russian embassy in the capital Washington replied to the respond from the White House by noting that “it is the sovereign right of Russia and Belarus to ensure their security by means we deem necessary amidst a large-scale hybrid war unleashed by Washington against us.”

The embassy stated on Telegram on Saturday that Moscow’s activities are “fully consistent with our international legal obligations,”
