Ji-Paraná – Rondônia-based ice cream brand Sabor Beradeiro uses natural ingredients and features native flavors of North Brazil like tapioca , açaí , cocoa , e Brazilian nuts . The firm has a stand at the Rondônia Rural Show in the pavilion of the state's Secretariat for Economic Development (SEDEC). Recipes use organic demerara sugar. The coconut milk tapioca flavor, for instance, features 80% of natural coconut milk extracted in the ice cream plant.“We also manufacture the nut milk for the Brazilian nut ice cream, with 60% of nut milk,” said Lima. Small amounts of skim milk power go into some flavors.

Sabor Beradeiro manufactures six types of ice cream: açaí cream, soursop, cupuaçu and jam, Brazilian nuts, coconut milk tapioca, and wild cocoa from Amazon made with 52% of cocoa. The three-year-old firm is based in the state's capital city Porto Velho.

The company sold 10 tonnes of ice cream to Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, and will open its first flagship store in the South Brazilian island, on Canasvieiras beach. It has recently sold to the city of Feliz, Rio Grande do Sul.“Despite the winter and the cold weather in South Brazil, they are consuming and really enjoying our ice cream,” said Lima.

In Porto Velho, you can find ice creams by sabor beradeiro in nearly all health food stores in the city, said the representative. You can also order by whatsapp .

The tenth Rondônia Rural Show Internacional runs until Saturday (27).
