Serbian Minister Of Education Resigns After School Shooting


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Serbia's Education Minister Branko Ruzic announced his resignation from his post days after the shooting incident in a school in the capital, Belgrade, which killed eight students and another person.
Ruzic said in a tweet that he had submitted his resignation to Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, after the "catastrophic tragedy."
The Serbian Ministry of Interior had announced in a statement that eight students and their school guard had been killed when a 14-year-old student in the seventh grade opened fire on his classmates. Six other students and teachers wounded in the shooting.
