Panama City Hall Creates Network To Assist The Homeless

(MENAFN- Newsroom Panama) The Mayor's Office of Panama has decided to find real and lasting solutions to the difficult situation of homeless people who roam the city.
To this end, Mayer Mizrachi has given instructions to create a working group where all organizations related to the topic are invited to participate.

Lizbeth Cunningham, Director of Social Management of the Mayor's Office of Panama, expressed the importance of addressing this challenge jointly.
According to the most recent data from the Population and Housing Census, an estimated 374 people identified themselves as "homeless" in Panama City.
Cunningham also extended an open invitation to all interested companies and organizations to join the effort to eradicate this social problem.

The program aims to establish a comprehensive strategy covering key areas such as health, education, employment, technical training, environmental protection and urban clean-up.
The program has received significant interest from various organizations, with 15 already committed to collaborating hand in hand with the Mayor's Office.

With the creation of this collaborative network, the Mayor's Office of Panama is positioning itself as a pioneer in the search for inclusive and effective solutions to improve the quality of life of those who need it most in the city.
